For the Goddesses: For Daphne

I departed from my father’s home, the river god Peneus. Time slipped away before I realized it… and now I serve Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon. In my homelands, a few years ago, men pursued me vigorously and incessantly. Their perfections, however, were nothing more than impure and twisted desires. For one such as me, this was a comfort from the influx of men. I rebelled against my father’s will, abandoned my home, and committed myself to the Moon Goddess who watches over this realm in eternal purity.
